As you walk along Rouen's streets, past half-timbered houses and bustling shops, you will discover the many treasures the town has to offer : the Cathedrale, the Gros-Horloge, the Law Courts, the Aître St.Maclou, St. Maclou's Church and St.Ouen's Abbey amongst others. You can retrace the memory of Joan of Arc at the Place du Vieux Marché, where the young shepherdess was burnt at the stake. A modern church now stands in her memory.

Rouen knows how to have fun: each season is punctuated with numerous cultural events and performances.

This liveliness is also due in part to Rouen's active sea and river port.
