Situated only 15 minutes away from Bordeaux, Planète Bordeaux is a unique place which will take you on a trip through the wonderful world of Bordeaux and Bordeaux superior AOC wines.

 

New. With Planet Cooking, Planète Bordeaux has opened creative cooking courses for gourmands and gourmets

! Every second saturday of the month, you will learn how to cook a menu and match the Bordeaux and Bordeaux superior wines to fit with it.

* From November to April, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m to noon and from 2 p.m to 6,30 p.m (last visit at 5,30 p.m).

* April / May, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m to noon and from 2 p.m to 7 p.m (last visit at 6 p.m). Saturday, from 10 a.m until 6 p.m.

2009 events calendar

« Bordeaux au Vert » Plants and flowers market combined with the discovery of fruity and fresh Bordeaux wines. Exhibition, wines sales, workshops, lectures and wine tasting in the presence of  winegrowers.

24th and 25th May 2009.

 

The « Samedis Gourmands », event combining a local producers market with typical goods, to some Bordeaux and Bordeaux superior wine tasting from our winegrowers. Workshops, cookery demonstrations, drawing…

5th, 12th and 19th December 2009.

Description of activity "Art of living in France"  :   Best Of Wine Tourism Awards in 2004, 2005 and 2006

Just 20 minutes from Bordeaux, in the heart of the vineyards, PLANETE BORDEAUX is a fabulous world around wine.
This is an entertaining and instructive voyage in several stages of initiation (land and terroirs, vines and landscapes, winegrowers and estates, metamorphoses of grapes. PLANETE BORDEAUX appeals to each sense and applies to every public. Ideal stopping place to familiarize with wines, to discover Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur Appellations and to finish with an introduction to tasting with red, white, clairet, rosé or crémant wines. At the end of the visit, the spectacular cellar: «Cave des 1001 Châteaux» shows its treasures. Discover them by yourself.
If you wish to extend your visit in the vineyards, PLANETE BORDEAUX will suggest you numerous tourist destinations around wine.
