Martinique:
the Flower of the Caribbean

Martinique, or "Madinina"
to the Caribbean Indians, is located in the heart of the Caribbean archipelago and is part of the Lesser Antilles or "Windward Islands".
The Atlantic Ocean washes against its eastern shores, while its western coast is lapped by the Caribbean Sea.

Martinique charms visitors all-year-round, with its 1,080 km² of contrasting, idyllic landscapes of lush, diverse vegetation.
Tourists are enchanted by the island's rich, exuberant, varied scenery.

A luxuriant tropical forest covers the northern part of the island, perfect for outdoors activities such as canyoning, hiking, ATVing, and horse riding.
The southern part of the island is the ideal destination for holiday goers in search of white-sand beaches, coconut palms and warm waters... picture postcard perfect!  Watersports enthusiasts are not left wanting: kite surfing, diving, jet skiing, kayaking and more.
Martinique boasts a particularly rich cultural heritage, which finds expression in its diverse handicrafts and its delicious cuisine, whose varied spices and unique flavours will titillate your taste buds.

Martinique offers a wide range of lodgings to welcome all visitors: intimate or luxury hotels, villas, hotel apartments, cottages...
Martinique is also the perfect choice for business tourism, with a quality infrastructure including a convention centre and 4-star hotels to guarantee a successful seminar or conference.

The island's culturally diverse, talented, passionate population, with its Caribbean flair and French touch, make Martinique a special holiday destination, whose calendar overflows with festivals.

During your stay, be sure to enjoy:
The island's many smells: cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg...
The music of Martinique: zouk, biguine, mazurka... and let yourself be carried away by the rhythms of an island with a rich and diverse culture.
