UNESCO IN FRANCE

Years before the concept had been clearly defined in other countries, France was passionately committed to historic preservation

Loire: A UNESCO World Heritage Site

The magnificent Loire Valley has been listed by UNESCO in its World Heritage. The astonishing originality of the valley thus gains official recognition for the stretch of 260 km from Sully-sur-Loire to Chalonnes-sur-Loire.

Bordeaux listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Bordeaux will now be entering a new dimension thanks to the UNESCO listing. As of Saturday, July 7th, and in order to celebrate this event, the Bordeaux Tourist Office is organising a new tour within the perimeter defined by UNESCO – a nighttime tour.
