Every summer in July, Montpellier opens its walls and gardens to over a hundred concerts, ranging from operas, symphonic concerts and chamber music to recitals by young virtuosos, jazz concerts and conferences. Numerous events take place every day. Whether in the air-conditioned hall of the Corum or in the courtyards and gardens of the city’s historic monuments, great music is to be enjoyed by all.

International Montpellier Dance Festival June  - July 2011

Since it was created in 1981, Montpellier Danse has been one of those special occasions for the world’s top choreographers get together regularly. Over 300 dance troupes from around the world have come to Montpellier thanks to this festival, the natural continuation of an already-rich local dance season, filling the city with an intense rhythm of 3 to 10 shows per day for nearly 10 days.

The reception is open daily. During the week-days from 9 am to 6.30 pm (7.30 pm in high season). Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm, Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm (9.30 am-1 pm and 2.30 am-6 pm in high season)
